Strength from the core.
In Pilates, all exercises originate from the core, building strength and stability, just like heartwood—the inner core of a tree that yields the strongest timber.

TESTIMONIALS
READ WHAT CLIENTS HAVE SAID…
“I’ve trained with Maureen for more than 4.5 years. She is by far the best Pilates teacher that I’ve had. With her in-depth knowledge of classical pilates, she tailors my sessions to meet my goals of increasing strength, improving balance, and maintaining flexibility. Our sessions are fun, and I always look forward to the next one. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
“I have been taking private Pilates lessons with Maureen for the last three years and I don’t envision stopping anytime soon! She is an extremely dedicated, professional, and very detail-oriented trainer. She is also excellent in building custom programs based on people needs and physical shape. She has been extremely helpful to me when I was dealing with severe back pain and she has always been able to address my needs and pivot the workout depending on how my body is feeling on the day of our session. For instance, she has been creating these amazing restorative, MELT sessions for me for days when my body needs to rest but also stretch in the right way. I cannot recommend her enough!!”
“As a male athlete I was nervous to start Pilates because I thought it was for female dancers, but Maureen proved me wrong. Her understanding of the body and functional movement has transformed how I run, bike, ski, and simply live my life.”
