MEDICAL CONCERNS:

At Heartwood Pilates I do not treat, cure, or diagnose ailments and medical concerns. I am not a physical therapy center trained medically in the field of PT. Heartwood Pilates is a fitness studio offering movement, exercise, and self care, to help strengthen the body and core through the practice of Pilates as originated by Joseph Pilates and the Melt Method developed bu Sue Hitzmann. Pilates and Melt Method are exercise regimens that can help with injury prevention and do not in any way medically rehabilitate specific past, current, or future injuries as performed in Physical Therapy. If you are experiencing ongoing discomfort/pain or have a recent injury that has not been medically treated, consult a physician before participating in any Pilates/Melt/fitness related activities.
